Did you know that some of the best remembered lines in film were improvised? “You’re gonna need a bigger boat” “You talkin’ to me” and “I’m walking here!” were all spur-of-the-moments delivered by the actors fully immersed in character.

This is the art or technique of dramatic composition and theatrical representation. This means that I can assist a director in constructing and realising their visions of the play into reality. I delve deep into the script, providing a textual analysis, and diving into the history of the text and playwright. I appraise directorial and design decisions to determine how they will be received by an audience.
